Astro Fact of the Day
Gravitationally bound systems (globular clusters, stellar "solar" systems, black holes) have negative specific heat. If you add heat they will equilibrate (virialize) to a cooler kinetic temperature.
Now my own suspicion is that the Universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose..............J.B.S. Haldane ............................................................................................................ Quantum Mechanics is not only stranger than you imagine, but stranger than you can imagine ............(a version attributed to Richard Feynman)
